A student’s portfolio can inform planning for the future and the transition from school. It can be used as, or help inform, a student’s curriculum vitae.

It may include:

  • evidence of the student’s learning at school and their achievements and activities outside school
  • school reports
  • certificates of achievement and participation
  • work experience assessments, tertiary courses undertaken
  • photographs, video clips
  • a summary of the educational settings attended
  • references and other relevant information.
